Project Description

Flare-Lok is a 37° flare fitting manufactured by Hyd-Air. The fitting is used world-wide in virtually every fluid power application.

The fitting consists of three pieces: body, nut and sleeve. The tube end is flared at an angle of 37° to mate with the nose of the fitting. When assembled, the flared end of the tube is sandwiched between the fitting nose (seat) and the sleeve creating an effective seal between the fitting nose and tube flare or hose.

Flare-Lok 37° fittings are available in steel, stainless steel 316, and brass. Sizes range from 1/8″ tube O.D. to 2″ tube O.D. in various configurations. Flexible manufacturing techniques allow Hyd-Air to offer adaptability to global ports such as: SAE, straight thread ISO-6149, NPT, BSPT, BSPP and DIN.

By simply changing the sleeve, the standard fitting body can be used along with metric tubing in sizes ranging from 6 mm tube O.D. to 38 mm tube O.D. The fitting body can also be used as a hose adapter without the nut and the sleeve.

Hyd-Air Flare-Lok 37° fittings are manufactured to meet or exceed SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2 standards.
