PTFE Convoluted Teflon Hose

The PTFE hose is also known as teflon hose. There is no difference among them. Short commercial name of polytetrafluoroethylene (P.T.F.E) is teflon. The hose comes covered with stainless steel wires to keep protect it from damage during transportation. The added wire braiding enables the hose pipe to withstand pressure.

PTFE hose due to its properties has a vast usage and acceptance. The hose stands out due to the following:

The only disadvantage of teflon hose is the rigidity of the tube. Despite of vast usefulness, the hose lacks acceptance at times due to its minimal flexibility. This problem is solved by the convoluted design of PTFE hose. The entire working remains the same, the same material but extremely flexible compared to the normal teflon hose.
